Dr. Susan Hernandez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains a private practice, Pearly Whites Pediatric Dentistry, in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico and earned her dental degree from University of Puerto Rico School of Dental Medicine in 2004. She completed her post-graduate studies at the Manhattan Campus of the Veteran’s Affairs New York Harbor Healthcare System in 2005 and specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in 2007.

Dr. Hernandez is also a Clinical Attending of Pediatric Dentistry at NYU Langone Dental Medicine Postdoctoral Residency Program in Brooklyn where she has enjoyed teaching residents the behavioral and pharmacological management of children, pediatric dentistry and the relationships to pediatric medicine. ​

​Dr. Hernandez was featured in the Incisal Edge Magazine Fall 2019 issue in their 9th annual 40 under 40 best, most interesting and most innovative dentist in America​. 
She has been featured twice in the CBS New York Newscast program “American Health Front” providing up-to–date and comprehensive pediatric oral healthcare information to our New York viewers. Dr. Hernandez is the recipient of the 2017 Brooklyn Power Women in Business Award and is listed in USA Top Dentists, and has been continuously named each year since 2012.
